Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Operations Manager to join our team at Aramark. This is a dynamic role that requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record of managing multiple priorities.

About the Role

The Accounting Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our account reconciliation process, including team management, budgeting, and forecasting. This individual will work closely with field locations, regional management, and corporate finance to ensure accurate and timely reconciliations.

This role also involves providing support for audit and SOX-related requests from internal and external auditors. Additionally, the successful candidate will work with Cash Accountants and Cash Reconcilers to ensure that all period-end bank and credit card reconciliation processes are performed on time and accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procedures to improve accounting operations and enhance overall efficiency.
  • Manage a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and performance evaluations as needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement and implement changes.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to accounting operations.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in automated reconciliation systems, preferably with Blackline experience.
  • Strong technical skills in Microsoft Excel, with Oracle experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
