Job Title: Logistics Supervisor

High Transit LLC is seeking a highly skilled Logistics Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for directing and coordinating the delivery of finished products and raw materials.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain delivery standards to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products.
  • Optimize routing and delivery schedules to minimize costs and maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Manage key cost drivers and leverage points to achieve balance among them.
  • Ensure carrier performance and report on overall fulfillment of value proposition for outside carriers.
  • Communicate with customers to implement suggestions that result in cost reduction of logistics in a win-win manner.
  • Manage delivery representative driver team hours relative to High Companies, Safety Management requirements, DOT regulations, overnights, vacations, etc.
  • Coordinate the flow of inbound raw material and customer returns as required.
  • Facilitate monthly drivers' meetings and promote positive communication.
  • Perform co-worker evaluations and make salary recommendations related to merit reviews, promotions, job transfers, training, etc.
Requirements:
  • B.S. in Logistics, Business, or a related field required. May be waived with 10 years of experience in increasingly progressive roles.
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in the transportation logistics industry.
  • Strong working knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Google mail, routing process, and SAP.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • APICS, CPIM, or CSCP certification(s) preferred.
  • American Society of Transportation & Logistics CTL certification preferred.
  • American Society of Quality white, yellow, or green belt preferred.
  • Commercial Drivers License preferred.
