Position Overview:

The Facilities Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the management of corporate facilities, travel logistics, and business continuity strategies. This position involves supervising Corporate Services personnel and ensuring the seamless execution of office administration tasks in alignment with company policies and management directives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer a comprehensive range of services related to the management of corporate offices, including oversight of mobile devices, travel arrangements, office furnishings, supplies, and corporate credit accounts.
  • Oversee daily facility operations, adhering to established operational standards.
  • Evaluate and implement strategies to meet ongoing space requirements in collaboration with various departments.
  • Manage office relocations, construction projects, and all maintenance-related activities.
  • Negotiate and coordinate national contracts for office construction, design, and expansion.
  • Collaborate with local contractors and site managers to equip new offices with necessary furniture, technology, and communication tools.
  • Solicit competitive bids to ensure cost-effective vendor selection.
  • Maintain and nurture relationships with service providers and manage vendor interactions.
  • Ensure the effective execution of maintenance agreements.
  • Procure office supplies and equipment, ensuring functionality and availability.
  • Facilitate the onboarding of new employees by providing essential office supplies and access permissions.
  • Act as the primary liaison with building management.
  • Lead the annual budget development process and monitor expenditures related to facilities, office supplies, and corporate services.
  • Supervise Corporate Services staff and participate in the recruitment and training of new team members.
  • Oversee administrative processes including printing, mailing, and document management.
  • Prepare various administrative reports and maintain updated records of contacts and vendor information.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in office management and administration.
