Key Responsibilities
  • Production Implementation: Engage in the testing of new products transitioning from engineering to production, ensuring the successful implementation of manufacturing processes.
  • Tooling and Process Development: Oversee the creation of all necessary tooling, instructions, and processes required for the effective assembly of safety equipment.
  • Feasibility Assessments: Conduct thorough evaluations of design feasibility, operational efficiency, and overall performance of safety slides and associated components.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with senior engineers to test design models and assess the feasibility of new designs, including their adaptability to various aircraft conditions.
  • Technical Support: Provide mechanical engineering support to troubleshoot production and quality issues, applying engineering principles to enhance product reliability.
  • Research and Development: Assist in the research and development of new equipment and processes that improve manufacturing capabilities.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive work instructions and technical reports related to product failure analysis and system malfunctions.
  • Standards Development: Collaborate with manufacturing supervisors to establish labor standards for existing products and assist in facility layout planning.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. A strong understanding of blueprint reading, technical drawings, and CAD software is essential.
