Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Manager to lead our Communications product line Electrical Engineering department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of engineers, technicians, and other personnel involved in the design and development of Communications engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of engineering technical issues, problem-solving abilities, and decision-making skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead a team of engineers and technicians to ensure the successful completion of Communications engineering projects.
  • Develop and implement engineering processes and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of engineering activities.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to engineers and technicians to ensure the successful completion of projects.
  • Develop and manage departmental budgets and resources to ensure effective use of company resources.
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks to ensure project success.
  • Interface with customers to ensure effective communication and coordination of engineering activities.
Requirements
  • Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience in engineering design.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Strong understanding of engineering technical issues, problem-solving abilities, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and conduct structured problem-solving.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Strong computer skills, specifically MS Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with RTCA DO-254 design assurance guidance and associated documentation.
