Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Mobility Specialist to join our team at The Boyd Group. As an Automotive Mobility Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, performing diagnostic testing and analysis, and ensuring the highest level of vehicle repair and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service, communicate effectively with customers, and ensure their satisfaction with our services.
  • Diagnostic Testing and Analysis: Perform diagnostic testing and analysis to identify vehicle issues, and recommend repairs and maintenance to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
  • Vehicle Repair and Maintenance: Perform repairs and maintenance on vehicles, including wiring repairs, ADAS calibrations, and other necessary tasks to ensure vehicles are safe and reliable.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, communicate with support staff to order necessary parts, and verify receipt of orders.
  • Service Invoicing: Write, print, and email service invoices, collect signatures or payment for work performed, and deliver completed invoices and payments to the office in an orderly manner.
  • Shop Equipment Maintenance: Maintain shop equipment, troubleshoot breakdowns, and perform preventative maintenance to ensure equipment is in good working order.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with teammates to schedule and complete jobs, and communicate effectively to ensure seamless workflow.
Requirements
  • Knowledge and Skills: Possess knowledge of OE scan tools, wiring repair procedures, and diagnostic skills in the automotive trade. Ability to learn new tools as needed and possess basic computer knowledge.
  • Education and Experience: High school degree or GED equivalent, and 4-10 years of related service technician experience.
  • Personal Qualities: Possess a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
