Job Summary:

As a Security Officer with Hard Rock International, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our patrons and team members. Under the direction of Security Department supervisors and managers, you will provide security coverage to safeguard the assets of the organization and promote a friendly guest-oriented demeanor at all times.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the security and safety of patrons and employees during assigned shifts.
  • Safeguard Company assets during shift times.
  • Prepare detailed incident reports in a clear and precise manner.
  • Enforce policies and procedures as they apply to the Internal Controls and Gaming Regulations during their assigned shifts.
  • Assist in the event of an emergency.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to patron inquiries and situations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of two years of guest service experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Two years of security related experience preferred.
Additional Requirements:
  • Must obtain and maintain valid licenses/certifications per Federal, State, and Gaming regulations.
  • Must successfully pass background check.
  • Must successfully pass drug screening.
  • Prior experience in the Gaming industry strongly preferred.
  • Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
  • Must be able to obtain CPR/AED certificate and pass Blood Borne Pathogen training.
Knowledge and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of computer applications to compose clear, concise and accurate reports.
  • Ability to read and comprehend all necessary documentation, training materials and policy information.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with guests and all levels of team members.
  • Ability to use tools and equipment such as radios, computers and other tools specific to the position.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, in English, with guests in a professional manner.
