Personal Care Aide

The Home Health Assistant provides personal care and homemaker services to clients in their residences, ensuring their comfort and well-being. Key responsibilities include assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal planning, as well as providing companionship and respite services. A high school diploma or equivalent, completion of a state-approved Certified Nurse Aide or Home Health Aide course, and at least six months of caregiving experience are required. The ideal candidate is compassionate, able to read, write, and speak English, and possess a valid driver's license and insured automobile or access to transportation.
Responsibilities:
Assist clients with personal care activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
Provide companionship and respite services to family members
Perform homemaking activities, such as vacuuming, dusting, and meal preparation
Assist with feeding and meal planning
Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of a state-approved Certified Nurse Aide or Home Health Aide course
At least six months of caregiving experience
Compassionate and able to read, write, and speak English
Valid driver's license and insured automobile or access to transportation
