Job Summary

Evaluate and treat residents and patients with speech, hearing, swallowing, and cognitive disabilities in compliance with state and federal guidelines at Recover-Care Healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient treatment under a physician's direction based on established care plans.
  • Screen and evaluate residents, developing appropriate care plans.
  • Plan, direct, or conduct rehabilitative treatment programs to restore communicative efficiency.
  • Administer, score, and interpret specialized hearing and speech tests.
  • Instruct residents, families, and caregivers on speech skills and practice techniques.
  • Complete required forms and documents according to company policy and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient records.
  • Develop special tools and treatments for patient needs.

Qualifications

  • Master of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology.
  • Current license in Speech Therapy as required by state law.
  • Certification in clinical competency.

Supervisory Responsibilities

May supervise Rehab Aides and others involved in the program.
