Lead Early Childhood Education Director

As the Assistant Director, you will play a pivotal role in leading our centers to success, leveraging our world-class curriculum, center accreditation process, and passionate teaching staff to drive exceptional results. With KinderCare's commitment to excellence, you will be empowered to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and their families, helping to shape the next generation of leaders and thinkers.
Your key responsibilities will include assisting the Center Director in leading teaching staff, supporting families, and achieving enrollment, accreditation, and operational objectives. You will also partner with parents who share our dedication to providing the best care and education for their children, cultivating positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners. As a versatile team player, you will serve in various roles throughout the center as needed, including teacher, cook, and/or driver.
To succeed in this role, you will require at least two years of early childhood education experience, with a deep understanding of developmentally appropriate practices and the ability to ensure their effective implementation in the classroom. Excellent administrative, organizational, verbal, listening, and communication skills are also essential, as is CPR and First Aid Certification or a willingness to obtain it. You must meet state-specific guidelines for the role and be physically able to use a computer with basic proficiency, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors.

Estimated salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Primary Location: Shawnee, Kansas, United States.
