Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team at Wellstar Health System, Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiology and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the performance of CT scans, ensuring accurate and high-quality images.
  • Position patients for procedures, using proper technique and safety protocols.
  • Operate CT equipment, maintaining a high level of proficiency and adhering to quality control standards.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest imaging technologies and techniques.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiology Technology.
  • ARRT Radiography and Computed Tomography certifications.
  • Basic Life Support certification.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in radiology, with CT experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
