Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Environmental Services Manager to join our team at Atlantic Health System. As a key member of our Environmental Services Department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our housekeeping team, ensuring a clean and safe environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and protocols to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Lead and manage a team of housekeeping staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
  • Monitor and control inventory levels, ensuring adequate supplies and equipment are available to meet departmental needs.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction scores and reduce turnaround times for discharge cleaning.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain accurate records of departmental activities.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; 4-year college degree preferred.
  • 2-5 years of leadership experience in environmental services or a related field; 6-8 years of experience in a healthcare environment preferred.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
