Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Clinical Therapist to join our team at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. As a Senior Clinical Therapist, you will provide direct clinical services, including assessment, individual, family, and group EAP consultations, as well as crisis intervention and critical incident interventions to EAP clients and employees of contracted organizations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer direct clinical services, including diagnostic assessment, individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, collateral intervention, and crisis intervention.
  • Complete mandated reporting in compliance with legal and professional standards and guidelines.
  • Coordinate care and services by documenting and communicating processes with treatment teams.
  • Provide Psychological Testing if permission is consistent with Professional State Licensure.
  • Complete clinical and administrative processes and documentation in compliance with Medicaid, insurance, Joint Commission, program, and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Conduct medical record reviews, treatment outcomes projects, and program development projects; complete service-related documentation.
  • Work with administrative support and utilization management to facilitate scheduling, review authorization of services, and transfer or refer clients to other programs.
  • Provide indirect supervision of mental health paraprofessional members of treatment team for clients and direct supervision of social work interns.
  • Participate in regularly scheduled and as-needed departmental and program staff meetings, training, and supervision and continuing education activities.
Requirements
  • LCSW or LPC licensure.
