Senior SharePoint Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled SharePoint Operations Support Analyst to fill a critical role in our team. This position is vital for the Level III support and administration of SharePoint environments, including SharePoint 2016, SharePoint Server (SE), and SharePoint Online (M365). You will play a key role in troubleshooting, managing, and migrating our SharePoint infrastructure, with a specific focus on transitioning from SharePoint 2016 to SharePoint Online and OneDrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and Administration: Provide expert support for SharePoint and OneDrive, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
- Migration Management: Lead the migration efforts from SharePoint 2016 to SharePoint Online using ShareGate, coordinating with team members throughout the process.
- Infrastructure Oversight: Administer IIS and database infrastructure related to SharePoint services, ensuring compliance with security protocols.
- Performance Monitoring: Measure and report on application performance, proactively addressing issues to maintain service levels.
- Collaboration and Documentation: Work closely with architecture and engineering teams on new initiatives, and document root causes and solutions for troubleshooting incidents.
- On-Call Support: Provide after-hours support as needed.
Required Skills
- Experience: 5+ years with Microsoft 365, particularly SharePoint and OneDrive.
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of IIS, database infrastructure, and migration processes for SharePoint environments.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and develop effective solutions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills, with a talent for collaborating with both technical and non-technical users.
- Certifications: Familiarity with ITIL, Six Sigma, or similar frameworks is a plus.
