Job Summary
Carter Lard Consulting seeks a seasoned leader to serve as the Chief Development Officer. This key role is responsible for executing the organization's fundraising strategy, overseeing grant writing, event fundraising, foundation relations, individual giving, in-kind giving, and volunteer engagement.

Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary for this position is $150,000 - $160,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.

Key Responsibilities
This role oversees the development team, ensuring they are coached and developed to meet organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in institutional giving, exemplary management skills, adept interpersonal skills, and effective cross-organizational collaboration. Key attributes include relationship building, communication skills, and ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of ten years in an institutional fundraising role, experience with corporate and foundations fundraising, excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, and a passion for our mission and core values. We also require exceptional relationship building, communication skills, and ability to manage and steward donor relationships. Experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and other relevant tools is necessary.
