**Medical Coding Specialist II**

About the Role:
The Coder/Abstractor II is a key member of our team, responsible for applying diagnostic and procedural codes to patient health information for data retrieval and analysis and claims processing.
Responsibilities:
- Apply accurate and consistent coding practices in accordance with Medical Center policies and procedures, as well as ethical coding standards set forth by the American Health Information Management Association.
- Stay up-to-date with Official Coding guidelines published by the Coding Clinic and CPT Assistant.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and complete coding of patient information.
