Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Specialist to join our team. As a Behavioral Health Specialist, you will work with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral challenges, providing assessment, treatment, and support to help them achieve their goals.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct ongoing assessments to identify the needs of patients served
  • Communicate with supervisors, direct care staff, family members, and guardians regarding patient progress
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide training and support to staff on program implementation and documentation
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and other relevant meetings
  • Complete monthly and quarterly progress notes
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records
Requirements
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral challenges
  • Strong understanding of behavioral intervention and learning principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
