The Orthopedic Surgeon provides direct clinical treatment services to patients on an outpatient basis, performing surgical procedures necessary for treatment, ensuring that patients receive the treatment necessary to treat their emergency medical complaint.
Job Details and RequirementsSaint Francis Healthcare System is seeking an Orthopedic Surgeon to join Advanced Orthopedic Specialists. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in orthopedic surgery, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment, communicating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
The Orthopedic Surgeon will be responsible for performing surgical procedures, including joint reconstruction and musculoskeletal surgery. The candidate will also be expected to participate in outreach opportunities to grow the practice and provide excellent quality of life with a 1:7 weekday call and 1:5 weekend call at one hospital.
The benefits of this position include a base salary plus productivity, 10% quality bonus, student loan repayment in full, signing bonus or monthly stipend option for residents, APP stipend, relocation allowance, paid malpractice, comprehensive benefits, and retirement plans.
Education and CertificationThe successful candidate will have a Doctorate degree in medicine and be certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. The candidate will also be required to maintain a controlled substance license for the State of Missouri and Federal DEA, as well as active medical privileges and medical memberships.
