Orthopedic Surgeon

The Orthopedic Surgeon provides direct clinical treatment services to patients on an outpatient basis, performing surgical procedures necessary for treatment, ensuring that patients receive the treatment necessary to treat their emergency medical complaint.
Responsibilities- Works constructively and collaboratively with other health professionals.
- Focuses on attaining high standards of healthcare in Orthopedic Surgery.
- Duties may include patient care, instructing, monitoring, afterhours and weekend call, and advising other health care professionals, as appropriate.
Step into a thriving orthopedic surgery practice with 7 experienced surgeons and 6 Advanced Practice Providers. Subspecialists are encouraged to apply. The demand for Hand, Total Joints, Foot and Ankle is tremendous. 35-40 clinic patients each day, 12-15 surgical cases per week. Outreach opportunities to grow practice. Dedicated Ortho Surgical Team and OR Rooms. Excellent quality of life 1:7 weekday call and 1:5 weekend call at one hospital. Award-winning hospital-named in the "Top 100 Hospitals in the Nation" by IBM Watson Health + ranked as an A-rated hospital by the Leapfrog Group

Requirements- Doctorate Required
- Medical license in the State of Missouri
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required
- Must also maintain a Controlled Substance license for the State of Missouri and Federal DEA
- Must have successfully completed, an accredited residency program
- Must maintain active medical privileges and medical memberships
- Must be Board Certified within 2 years of hire date
