Position Overview
*Southern Foodservice Management, Inc.*, a leading provider in contract food services, is seeking a dedicated *Dishwasher/Utility Worker* for our corporate dining establishment. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional catering services for various events.


Work Schedule
The work schedule for this role is Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays. The typical shift runs from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, with some events requiring earlier starts and later finishes.

Compensation
The hourly wage for this position is $14.00.


Candidate Profile
We are in search of an individual who values punctuality, demonstrates a willingness to assist fellow team members in the kitchen, and adheres to all health and sanitation standards.

Key Responsibilities
As a Dishwasher/Utility Worker, your duties will include:
  • Cleaning and properly storing all dishes and kitchenware.
  • Managing waste disposal, sweeping, mopping, and maintaining cleanliness in both kitchen and dining areas.
  • Assisting the Chef Manager with additional tasks as needed.
  • Exhibiting a friendly and professional demeanor while interacting with customers.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
  • Prior experience in a similar role within a dining facility is preferred.
  • A positive and helpful attitude towards customers and colleagues.
  • The ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • A high level of reliability and flexibility in scheduling.
Additional Responsibilities
Further responsibilities include:
  • Operating industrial dishwashing equipment.
  • Hand-washing glassware and utensils when necessary.
  • Consistently following sanitation protocols.
  • Supporting prep cooks and kitchen staff during busy periods.
  • Completing opening, closing, and side work tasks.
  • Adhering to safety standards and dress code.
  • Performing other assigned duties as directed.
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs. or more.
