Job Summary:

The Senior Fleet Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of our fleet of vehicles and equipment. This includes diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical issues, performing routine maintenance tasks, and ensuring that all vehicles and equipment are in good working condition.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with vehicles and equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
  • Ensure that all vehicles and equipment are in good working condition
  • Coordinate with vendors and other departments to obtain necessary parts and services
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures
  • Train and mentor junior technicians
Requirements:
  • Associate degree in auto mechanics/repair, automotive diesel technology, or related field
  • 3 years of experience in automotive repair
  • Valid North Carolina driver's license
  • North Carolina Inspection and/or Emissions License
  • Environmental Protection Agency 609 Certification
  • Forklift Operator's License
Preferred Qualifications:
  • ASE certification
  • NC State Inspectors License - both safety/OBD2
  • Welding experience
  • Intermediate/advanced skills with automotive diagnostic equipment
