Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker/Service Coordinator to join our Early Intervention Team at NORTH SUFFOLK COMMUNITY SERVICES INC. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and their families.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Provide EI screenings, intakes, evaluations, and assessments to identify client needs and develop effective plans for support.
  2. Deliver high-quality direct child development and family support services, including case management, education, advocacy, and referrals as necessary.
  3. Collaborate with client families and the EI team to ensure seamless coordination of services and achieve optimal outcomes.
  4. Develop and implement Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) that meet the unique needs of each client family.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as Counseling Psychology, Developmental Psychology, or Social Work.
  • LICSW or LMHC licensure is preferred, but not required.
  • Experience working with infants and young children, particularly those with developmental delays or disabilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
Benefits and Compensation
  • Salary: $67,500 per year, with additional differentials for language skills and specialized certifications.
  • Paid Time Off: two weeks' vacation, 12 sick days, and 11 paid holidays per year.
