Amergis is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Behavioral Classroom Aide in a school setting. The successful candidate will provide personalized support services to students, focusing on behavioral assistance and interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and behavioral assistance to assigned students.
  • Assist students with various daily activities, including classroom participation, grooming, eating, and toileting.
  • Support students with ambulation and transfer services, crisis intervention, and the implementation of behavioral plans.
  • Encourage independence and maintain student safety.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Associate's degree in behavioral studies or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Current Health Certificate (if applicable).
  • Current CPR card.
  • Current TB Skin test or Chest X-ray.
  • Successful completion of Company testing process.
