About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Occupational Therapist to work with our patients in an Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital setting. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will play a vital role in helping patients recover from various medical conditions, including strokes, spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, neurological disorders, and orthopedic conditions.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in Inpatient Rehab settings and possess excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and treat patients with various medical conditions, focusing on improving their functional abilities and overall quality of life.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless delivery of care and coordinate efforts to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient progress, update treatment plans as needed, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $45-$50 per hour, taking into account the location and industry standards. Our hospital provides a supportive work environment, opportunities for professional growth and development, and a comprehensive benefits package.

This is a full-time position, offering 70 hours of guaranteed work per two weeks, with some flexibility to accommodate individual scheduling needs. The shift schedule is 4x10 hours, with the possibility of being called off for one 10-hour shift every two weeks, depending on the facility's needs.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field.
  • Current Alaska OT License and NBCOT certification.
  • 1+ years of experience in Inpatient Rehab settings, preferably with experience in treating patients with neurological disorders.
  • Strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
