Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a critical role in helping patients regain their functional independence and quality of life. Your expertise will enable you to create customized treatment plans, conduct assessments, and implement therapeutic interventions to address patients' physical, mental, or developmental challenges.

The estimated salary for this role is $2561.00 per week, based on industry standards and location. This position offers a competitive compensation package, including benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

Responsibilities
  • Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments to understand patients' needs, strengths, limitations, and goals. Develop comprehensive evaluation reports identifying areas for improvement, potential goals, and required interventions.
  • Treatment Planning: Create personalized treatment plans addressing specific patient needs. Set measurable goals for improvement in self-care, mobility, work performance, and cognitive skills. Recommend appropriate therapeutic activities and exercises tailored to patients' abilities and progress.
  • Therapeutic Interventions: Implement individualized therapy programs to improve motor skills, cognitive function, sensory processing, and social interaction. Use activities like exercises, therapeutic games, fine motor skills tasks, and adaptive strategies to enhance patients' independence.
Qualifications
  • Clinical Expertise: Proven clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
  • Licensure: Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Alaska.
