We're looking for an experienced Chief People Officer (CPO) to join our team in New York City. As CPO, you will play a critical role in shaping how our People team collaborates with the business to provide high-impact support. You will work closely with leadership and employees to drive People team strategies, initiatives, and programs that align with business objectives.
Job Description:As CPO, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with business leaders to understand their goals, challenges, and workforce needs, ensuring that HR strategies support overall business objectives.
- Providing effective coaching and advice on people management, org design, performance, development, HR programs, and policies.
- Supporting the development and execution of customized talent strategies, including succession planning, talent acquisition, and career growth paths.
- Guiding leaders through the performance management process, ensuring we are building a high-performance culture by embedding feedback into the employee lifecycle.
- Serving as the point of contact for employee relations issues, leading investigations, handling terminations, and resolving conflicts to foster a positive workplace culture.
- Identifying and driving initiatives aimed at improving organizational effectiveness, including leadership development, team engagement, and change management.
We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional with a strong background in human resources and people operations. The ideal candidate will have 6-10 years of experience in People Operations, including at least 3+ years as an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist in a high-growth company.
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree required; bonus points for an advanced degree in organizational psychology, business, HR management, or other relevant field.
- Strong interpersonal skills, high emotional intelligence, and the ability to connect with a wide variety of audiences.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills that demonstrate a high level of professionalism.
- High ownership mentality, superior project management abilities, and excellent attention to detail.
We offer a competitive salary range of $150,000-$180,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
