About the RoleJob Summary

This role will provide confidential support to the Chief Quality Officer and manage the operations of the department under general supervision. The ideal candidate will have experience in medically-oriented health care and medical support systems, with at least two years of full-time experience in an administrative or supervisory capacity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Secretarial support for the Chief Quality Officer
  • Liaise between the Office of Quality and other medical and administrative departments
  • Prepare and coordinate the monthly Hospital-Wide Quality Assurance & Performance Improvement (HWQAPI) report
  • Maintain a calendar of standing meetings with various departments
  • Facilitate PI capacity-building programs
  • Facilitate triage and timely completion and submission of responses to Quality of Care concerns from Managed care Organizations
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a Master's degree in Public Health, Public Administration, Business Administration, Social Work, Psychology, or Rehabilitation Counseling, or a satisfactory equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Certification or licensure may be required.
