Responsibilities:
* Safely and independently adjust, repair and maintain mechanical systems; complete some basic electrical system repairs.
* Utilize support to maintain conveyors, paint systems and chemical processes.
* Maintain, perform and report on preventative maintenance on all plant support equipment.
* Utilize drawings, schematics and hydraulic diagrams to evaluate, make recommendations and resolve problems.
* Interpret and apply a variety of technical instructions.
* Communicate technical issues to others and evaluate responses in a group setting.
* Conduct equipment installation (air, gas, rigging) under the support and direction of experienced technicians.
* Maintain 5S compliant work area.
* Must certify and maintain certifications to use powered industrial vehicles and overhead cranes.
* Understand and comply with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 requirements.
Requirements:
* Successful completion of the Kubota apprenticeship program or HS Diploma/ GED plus 2-5 years of maintenance manufacturing experience.
* English language competency required.
* Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.
* Ability to read drawings, schematics and hydraulic diagrams.
* Must certify and maintain valid certification on all powered industrial vehicles and overhead crane operations for the facility. Certifications must be achieved within 30 days of position start.
Preferred Qualifications:
* 2 Year degree in Maintenance Technology preferred.
* 2-5 years of demonstrated maintenance experience in a similar environment preferred.
* Basic understanding of electrical systems including relays, motors and switches.
* Previous powered industrial truck and overhead crane experience.

While performing the duties of this job, the team member must have the ability to work in extreme hot or cold conditions, stand for the duration of the shift (up to 12 hours), use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; ascend stairs; balance; stoop, kneel or crouch; talk and hear. In addition, the team member must occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to focus.
