Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues and ensure optimal functionality.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical problems, including working with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers).
  • Implement preventive maintenance strategies and execute scheduled maintenance tasks to reduce equipment downtime.
  • Collaborate with management to devise strategies for enhancing equipment performance and reliability.
  • Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities.
  • Ensure adherence to all safety and environmental regulations.
  • Provide technical support and training to fellow team members as necessary.
  • Assist in the installation of new machinery and equipment.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives and projects.

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician, ideally within the Food and Beverage Sector.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing PLCs is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, as well as industrial machinery.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Experience with preventive maintenance programs.
  • High attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
  • Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations.
  • Physical capability to lift heavy equipment and work in demanding conditions.
  • A degree or diploma in a relevant field is preferred.
