Job Title: Rigger (45 J2-J4)


Job Summary:


We are seeking a skilled Rigger (45 J2-J4) to join our team at Aerotek. As a Rigger, you will be responsible for moving and staging equipment and material, aligning and blocking equipment, securing and tying down items for transportation, and performing general labor duties.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Move and stage equipment and material
  • Align and block equipment
  • Secure and tie down items for transportation
  • Perform general labor duties
  • Assist other Trades personnel in equipment and/or material needs

Requirements:


  • Shipboard experience
  • Rigging experience

Work Environment:


This is a fully on-site position in a shipyard/Outdoor environment. You will work on a variety of projects, including those at Nassco, BAE, MHI, and Norfolk Naval. The shift is 1st (7-3:30), and you must be able to work weekends (usually Saturdays) and up to 2 hours before and after start of shift. Average hours per week are 40-55 hours pending workload.
