Position Title: Equipment Maintenance and Commissioning Specialist

Role Summary: The Equipment Maintenance and Commissioning Specialist is tasked with ensuring the optimal performance of specialty thermal room systems for our clients. This role encompasses routine maintenance as per the established maintenance agreement and may involve commissioning duties during the installation and startup phases of the equipment. The specialist will address technical repairs, including diagnosing and resolving issues related to the specialized equipment. Customer satisfaction is paramount, and the specialist will provide direct support and troubleshooting assistance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Possess a strong foundation in Electrical & Controls systems.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (80-90% of the time).
  • Commission, train, and initiate equipment during project implementation, including the installation of components and comprehensive testing of thermal rooms.
  • Collaborate with clients and their maintenance teams to troubleshoot equipment or control issues on-site.
  • Address customer inquiries promptly; offer technical support, document issues, and determine appropriate solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to representatives and service personnel.
  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide relevant information about products and services.
  • Adhere to customer service protocols to meet satisfaction standards.
  • Assist in managing parts inventory, creating spare parts lists, and pricing components for wellness projects to ensure resource availability.
  • Review technical documents, including diagrams and schematics, with clients and engineers to ensure compliance with functionality and safety standards.
  • Maintain close communication with Clients, Project Managers, and Supervisors.
  • Oversee cost management aspects, including reporting and travel expenses.
  • Foster relationships to identify and develop new opportunities.
  • Enhance Maintenance Programs to address and resolve maintenance challenges, sharing insights with clients and team members.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Preferred/Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

· High School diploma with 3-5 years of relevant industry experience, or 5-10 years of direct experience in the field.

· Mandatory electrical knowledge and experience.

· Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing PLC Systems.

· Strong mechanical aptitude with a basic understanding of thermal dynamics and related equipment.

· Familiarity with Building Management Systems is advantageous.

· Ability to read, interpret, and create electrical schematics and manufacturing drawings.

· Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

· Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Demonstrated ability to achieve results in both supervised and independent settings.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Spanish is a plus.

· Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is essential.
