You will have the chance to provide exceptional customer service and innovative solutions to our clients.
A key aspect of this position is ensuring that all equipment is maintained in a clean, organized manner, and properly tagged. This includes upholding high operational standards to minimize the risk of damage to the equipment. Our technicians embody our core values, delivering industry-leading services and ensuring that all equipment is prepared for rental while promoting a strong safety culture.
Key Responsibilities- Planning: Organize your daily delivery and pick-up schedule based on operational needs.
- Yard Preparation: Ensure all rental equipment and materials are ready for dispatch.
- Communication: Act as a representative of Herc Rentals when interacting with customers, sales teams, and internal departments.
- Maintenance: Keep tools and supplies in optimal condition to successfully complete projects.
- Technology Utilization: Employ devices such as tablets and smartphones to document project details, including daily notes and progress reports.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrate strong independent thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Driving: Safely operate box trucks and vans for equipment transport.
- Flexibility: Be available for overtime and on-call duties as required.
- Additional Duties: Perform other responsibilities as assigned by management.
- Training: Attend all required training sessions as directed by Herc Rentals and manufacturers.
Educational Background: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience utilizing mechanical and technical skills, with basic knowledge of HVAC systems and troubleshooting.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and carry 5 pounds continuously.
Licensing: Valid driver's license with the capability to operate company vehicles; a CDL is a plus.
Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years old.
SkillsCompensation: The actual salary offered will be determined at the company's discretion and may vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, and overall fit for the role.
