Department: Burn ICU 7H

Shift: Days/ Part Time

Role Summary:

As a Patient Care Technician at Mercy, your responsibilities will include assisting with clinical tasks, offering non-clinical support, and working towards team objectives. Become part of a compassionate ministry that emphasizes exceptional care and service.

Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma, G.E.D., CNA/CPCT certification, or currently pursuing a healthcare career program.
  • Experience: No previous experience necessary. New hires will participate in a thorough 175-hour training program to fulfill state requirements.
  • Certifications: BLS certification must be obtained within one month of employment, with PCT competencies to be completed within three months.
  • Physical Requirements: Role necessitates physical abilities such as lifting up to 50 pounds frequently, along with prolonged standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
  • Preferred Experience: Background as an EMT, Paramedic, or prior patient care experience.
  • Preferred Certifications: CNA, EMT, AUA, CPCT.
