Patient Care Associate

As a Patient Care Associate at Mercy, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and support. Under the guidance of our experienced nursing staff, you will assist in providing individualized care to patients, promoting their highest level of wellness and comfort.
Responsibilities- Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families
- Assist with non-clinical tasks, such as answering phones, taking messages, and maintaining patient records
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of a healthcare training program or certification in a related field preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts and rotate weekends and holidays
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within one month of hire
