Job Opportunity: Traveling Carpenter

Lane Valente Industries, a leading international construction and facility maintenance company, is seeking a skilled traveling carpenter to join our team. As a traveling carpenter, you will have the opportunity to work on various commercial construction projects across the United States, utilizing your expertise in carpentry, painting, and flooring.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform commercial renovations and buildouts, including partition framing, metal/wood studs, and installation of basic cabinetry and countertops.
  • Utilize basic computer skills to document work and communicate with customers.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers through effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Provide detailed documentation of repairs, including measurements, pictures, and recommendations for future repairs.
  • Work overtime and/or on-call as needed to meet project deadlines and address emergency issues.
  • Travel and work overnight shifts throughout the United States as required.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction or commercial maintenance.
  • Proficiency in carpentry, painting, and flooring skills, including installation of VCT, LVT, tile, carpet squares, and cove base.
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical skills, including replacement and installation of sinks, faucets, toilets, and basic drainage and water lines.
  • OSHA 10hr certification or completion within 3 months of employment.
