Field Service Technician

Job Summary
The Lead Field Service Technician is responsible for providing preventative maintenance, warranty, and repair services on electrical systems at the customers' location.
Your job tasks will include, but are not limited to:
- Delegating and overseeing all onsite work activity
- Daily JSA, lockout, and test sheet review
- Assisting others with high level technical tasks such as troubleshooting using wiring diagrams or electrical prints
- Communication with the customer on any issues found as well as onsite progress
This position currently consists of 60% travel. We are growing our customer base, most jobs are between 1-3 weeks, and there are significant travel perks and flexibility in scheduling and vacation.
Qualifications:
- 2 years' experience in a field dealing with 480V power, reading prints, electrical theory, power distribution, or power generation
- Strong electrical background: Journeyman or Master Electrician, Naval Nuclear Power Training, Manufacturing or Data Facility Maintenance Technician, Power Generating Station Technician
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to pass a drug test at all times
- Ability to pass background checks for government or private secure facilities
- Physically fit enough to lift up to 50 lbs., carry equipment, kneel, climb, and walk long distances if needed
- Basic computer skills
- Familiarity with all types of hand tools
- Leadership experience
