Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and maintain generator systems to ensure optimal performance
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and mechanical issues
  • Repair and test generators to ensure they meet safety and performance standards
  • Interact with customers to provide exceptional service and support
  • Complete paperwork and documentation accurately and efficiently
  • Read and apply technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics to perform tasks

Requirements:

  • Mechanical and electrical aptitude with experience in mechanical and electrical fields, particularly with diesel generators
  • Technical schooling in automotive or transportation fields, commercial, residential electric, or military experience a plus
  • Willingness to learn and use new technologies
  • Ability to work various shifts, weekends, holidays, and on-call pager rotations with occasional out-of-town travel/overnight stays
  • Certified Journeyman Electrician a plus but not required
