As an Occupational Therapist Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping patients regain their physical abilities and independence in the comfort of their own homes. Your primary responsibility will be to work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to develop and implement personalized treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of each patient.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients in their homes, adhering to established treatment plans and protocols.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop targeted interventions.
  • Implement evidence-based treatment strategies to promote patient progress and independence.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records, as required.

Requirements:

  • Current OTA licensure in the state of Rhode Island.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
