Job Summary

City Personnel is seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team in South Kingstown, RI. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dedicated physicians and nurses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist healthcare professionals during medical exams and procedures, ensuring seamless care delivery.
  • Accurately record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and weight.
  • Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare providers.
  • Collect and prepare laboratory samples for testing with precision.
  • Perform routine lab tests, such as blood draws, EKGs, and urinalysis, to support patient diagnosis and treatment.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 12 months of experience in the healthcare field is preferred.
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant is a plus, but not required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems, medical software, and basic medical equipment is necessary.
  • Willingness to work at various locations throughout Rhode Island as needed.
