About the Job Description

This role involves working as part of a dynamic team to provide comprehensive care to patients undergoing orthopedic surgery. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing pre- and postoperative patients, evaluating patients in the office setting, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Pre- and Postoperative Patient Management: Manage pre- and postoperative patients, including education for patients and their families.
  2. Patient Evaluation: Evaluate patients in the office setting.
  3. Procedures and Treatments: Prepare patients for, assist with or complete examinations, treatments, injections, dressing changes.
  4. Clinical Collaboration: Collaborate with nurses on clinical units regarding day-to-day patient care.
Requirements:
  • R.N., Bachelor's degree in nursing or Master's Degree in Nursing.
  • Current registered nursing license in the State of Illinois.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
