Electrical Project Manager Job Description

Fountain Electric Services LLC is seeking a qualified and experienced electrical construction project manager to join our team. As a project manager, you will be responsible for ensuring job profitability on multiple projects, coordinating and communicating with customers, general contractors, architects, engineers, and other trades, and managing and administering vendor, supplier, and subcontractor contracts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and management
  • Purchasing and materials acquisition
  • Manpower planning and allocation
  • Read/interpret plans, blueprints, specifications, and/or other construction documents
  • Prepare layout drawings
  • Handling of RFI's, Submittals, Purchase Orders, etc.
  • Assist and/or coordinate with project estimators and engineers
  • Regular visits to multiple jobsites and attendance at project meetings
  • Management, oversight, and development of jobsite leadership (foremen/superintendents)
  • Overall project QA/QC

Requirements:
  • 10+ years of commercial/industrial electrical experience
  • At least 5 years of experience as a foreman or superintendent
  • 2 years as a project manager or assistant project manager
  • Applicants must possess a High School diploma or GED
  • Applicants must pass a mandatory drug screen and background check
  • Training in an apprenticeship or similar program, or in a trade or technical school is preferred
  • Applicants should have excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Applicants must be able to multi-task and work well under time constraints
  • Familiarity and/or experience with prefabrication applications
