Supply Chain Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team at Penske Truck Leasing. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating shipments, scheduling appointments, and ensuring timely delivery of goods.
Responsibilities- Coordinate shipments and schedule appointments to meet shipment deadlines
- Work with customers and drivers to resolve shipment issues
- Communicate and document critical information to internal associates and customers
- Liaise between departments to track inventory and resolve issues
- Conduct safety observations and identify areas for improvement
- Coordinate training and road test schedules
- Identify cost savings opportunities for customers
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- 1 year of transportation management experience preferred
- Ability to learn and operate multiple transportation management systems
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Advanced computer skills, including Excel and Outlook
The associate will be required to stand, walk, and sit. The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and to reach with hands and arms. The associate must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25lbs/12kg.
