Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and energetic Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Another Broken Egg Café. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen area.

About Us

Another Broken Egg Café is a daytime-only breakfast and brunch café that offers a unique dining experience to our guests. We pride ourselves on providing excellent training and opportunities for advancement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and sanitized environment by washing and sanitizing utensils, plateware, glassware, and equipment.
  • Ensure all dishes are clean and available as needed.
  • Maintain daily cleanliness and maintenance of the dishwashing machine.
  • Wash and sanitize food preparation areas, including pots, pans, and kitchen utensils.
Working Conditions
  • This position requires frequent lifting and carrying of cases and bus tubs weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequent bending and stooping are also required.
  • The work environment can be hot and damp, with frequent immersion of hands in water and mild cleaning solutions.
  • Ability to stand or walk for long periods is essential.
Qualifications
  • Energetic and motivated individual who can maintain a high level of energy throughout their shift.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
  • Frequent use of hands is required.
