Account Management Professional

We are seeking a highly motivated Customer Service Representative (Account Management) to join our team at Precoat Metals in Greenfield, IN. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with 2-5 years of experience in customer service or inside sales, preferably in an industrial setting.
This role involves providing exceptional customer service, growing existing customer relationships, and meeting or exceeding monthly sales quotas. You will work closely with customers, production, and distribution teams to achieve this goal.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide timely product and technical information to generate new and repeat sales.
- Determine customer requirements and expectations to recommend specific products and solutions.
- Presentation of price, credit, and terms according to standard procedures and customers' profitability profiles.
- Accurate processing of customer transactions, including orders, quotes, and returns.
- Supply accurate information regarding scheduling and availability of items.
- Obtain and provide accurate information relating to shipment dates and expected date of delivery.
- Recommend items needed by customers to increase customer satisfaction and improve transaction profitability.
- Increase sales and average order size through cross-selling, up-selling, and add-on sales.
- Educate customers about terminology, features, and benefits of products to improve product-related sales and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor scheduled shipment dates to ensure timely delivery and expedite as needed.
- Contact customers following sales to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and resolve any complaints.
- Remain current on consumer preferences, changes in local codes, and product developments.
- Maintain customer files and identify trends in customer satisfaction or dissatisfaction.
- Manage time effectively, meet personal goals, and work effectively with other team members.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- 2-5 years of customer service or inside sales experience, preferably in an industrial setting.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced sales environment.
- Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding goals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Superior customer service and selling skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
- Detailed oriented and able to work independently.
Estimated Salary:$50,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
