Position Summary

The Customer Service Agent will handle incoming calls from patients, applying company protocols to address their concerns and forwarding complex issues to the Call Center Lead or Supervisor as needed. This role is crucial in delivering exceptional service as the initial contact for patient inquiries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to incoming patient calls and take appropriate actions for each interaction.
  • Ensure high levels of patient satisfaction.
  • Participate in mandatory training sessions to stay updated on policy modifications.
  • Utilize customer service skills to de-escalate situations with dissatisfied patients, escalating to a supervisor when necessary.
  • Enter patient information and appointments into the Electronic Health Record (E.H.R) and scheduling systems.
  • Leverage knowledge of the organization's operations.
  • Adhere to HIPAA regulations.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with E.H.R. and scheduling software.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal communication abilities.
  • High degree of professionalism.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.

Physical Demands

  • Extended periods of sitting at a desk and using a computer.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
