Job Title: Senior Principal Engineer - RF Sensors Electronics Support Analyst

Northrop Grumman's Aeronautics Systems sector is seeking a highly skilled Senior Principal Engineer - RF Sensors Electronics Support Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in defining the future. This position will be located in Melbourne, FL.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented engineer with a strong background in RF sensors and electronics support to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and testing RF sensors onto and into airborne platforms. This role requires a high level of expertise in model-based systems engineering, electromagnetics, and system scenarios.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop RF sensors and electronics systems for airborne platforms
  • Perform analytical work using model-based systems engineering tools
  • Work with electromagnetics in the RF spectrum (VHF through Ka bands)
  • Collaborate with sensor providers and suppliers
  • Develop and maintain system requirements and architecture
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university AND 9 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering; OR a Master's degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university AND 7 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering; or a Ph.D. AND 4 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering
  • Active DoD Secret clearance that is in-scope (granted or renewed within the last 6 years)
  • Ability to obtain Top Secret clearance
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (PAR)
  • Ability to travel 0-25%
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 14 Years with Bachelors in Science; 12 Years with Masters; 9 Years with PhD
  • Active DoD Top Secret Clearance
  • Experience with Cameo, DOORs, Rhapsody, writing requirements, and tracing requirements through various levels
  • Knowledge of electromagnetics in the RF spectrum (VHF through Ka bands)
  • Knowledge of DoDAF and system scenarios
