Job Title: Outpatient Physical Therapist

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a skilled and compassionate Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our team in Arlington, Virginia.

About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist to provide high-quality care to our clients in senior living communities. As an Outpatient Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for making home visits, performing diagnostic tests and measurements, and developing and implementing individualized care plans.

Responsibilities:
  • Make home visits to clients in designated senior living communities
  • Perform diagnostic tests and measurements, such as mobility and range of motion assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, including manual therapeutic exercises and gait training
  • Continually assess and revise the Physical Therapy plan of care, and participate in multidisciplinary care plan meetings
  • Educate and instruct clients, family members, or community staff on therapy services and activities necessary to promote independent living
Qualifications:
  • Current VA Physical Therapist license
  • Outpatient experience a plus, but not required
  • Graduation from a program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Dynamic and strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills
