We are seeking a skilled medical optometrist to join our team at Rutland Regional Medical Center. As a member of our hospital-owned practice, you will work alongside an established ophthalmologist and a team of skilled certified ophthalmic assistants to provide comprehensive eye care services to patients of all ages.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, diagnose, and treat various conditions of the visual system
- Provide professional optometry services, including examinations, diagnoses, and management of eye conditions
- Collaborate with our clinical and support staff to ensure high-quality patient care
- Graduate of a fully accredited college of optometry program (OD)
- 1-3 years of clinic experience preferred
- Licensed by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry (NBEO) and licensed in the State of Vermont
- BLS Certification through the American Heart Association
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Basic Microsoft desktop application and navigation skills
