Job Summary

BS&B Safety Systems, LLC. is seeking a skilled Precision Metal Fabricator to join our team. As an essential member of our production team, you will be responsible for fabricating, testing, and assembling precision metal components using manual, semi-automated, or automated presses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fabricate precision metal components using ferrous and non-ferrous materials in progressive die sets
  • Operate industrial presses, including the 30-ton Minster press and 110-ton Servo press
  • Configure equipment, feed material, and remove parts from the die
  • Measure and qualify finished products
  • Complete paperwork and documents associated with each order
  • Manufacture products from work orders, drawings, and engineering instructions
  • Follow quality control procedures and guidelines
  • Assist in training and mentoring other team members
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2-5 years of industrial manufacturing experience in a precision product environment
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
  • Good computer skills and intermediate Excel knowledge
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Working Conditions

General shop conditions, moderate to occasionally loud noise up to 90 Ddb

Occasional use of office equipment, such as telephone, facsimile machine, and photocopier

Safe work performance is required at all times
