Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee a wide range of construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have exceptional organizational and time-management skills, as well as the ability to coordinate a team of professionals to achieve the best results.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and supervising construction procedures, ensuring they are completed in a timely and efficient manner. They will also need to be well-versed in all construction methodologies and procedures, as well as able to negotiate contracts with external vendors and obtain necessary permits and licenses.

A BSc/BA in engineering, building science or a relevant field is required, along with PMP or equivalent certification. The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. This is a full-time position located at our Corporate Headquarters in Dallas, Texas, where our culture is engaging and collaborative due to our onsite Monday through Friday operations.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, etc. to determine project specifications
  • Negotiate contracts with external vendors
  • Obtain necessary permits and licenses
  • Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment, materials) while considering budgetary limitations
  • Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to meet deadlines
  • Hire contractors and other staff and allocate responsibilities
  • Supervise laborers, mechanics, etc., and provide guidance when needed
  • Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports

Requirements
  • Proven experience as a construction project manager
  • In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material/project management principles
  • Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Familiarity with construction/project management software
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • A team player with leadership abilities
  • BSc/BA in engineering, building science or a relevant field
  • PMP or equivalent certification
